Online Payments - Setting up Stripe

This article explains how to setup online payments using Stripe

Getting Stripe connected is pretty straightforward. Follow the steps below to get started.

 

  1. Log into MemberDay and click the Dues Billing menu item

  2. Click the gear icon in the upper right and choose Online Payments

  3. Click the Create New Stripe Account button

  4. Now you will be on the Stripe screen to setup a new account. Go through that process and fill everything out.

  5. Once you are done and the application has been approved (it can take a couple days) return to the Online Payments screen from #2 above. If your account with Stripe is all set it will be listed in the Manage Connected Stripe Accounts section.

  6. Select the new account for Dues Billing and Event Registration

 

That's all there is for the Stripe setup. Then there are two things to do to use them in Dues Billing and Event Registration:

 

Dues Billing - Go to the main screen and click the gear icon and choose Invoice Configuration. Scroll to the bottom and check the box for online payments

 

Event Registration - Once you create a new registration, click the three dots to the right of it (where all registrations are listed) and choose Payment Options. There you can indicate you want to use online payments.
